内华达州&拉斯维加斯党部活动纪实
2024年3月23日，中国民主党全国联合总部内华达州拉斯维加斯党部在荣誉主席汪岷的带领下齐聚拉斯维加斯召开了抗击香港23条立法的会议。
会议由内华达州党部主席居一峰主持，会议上党员们积极发言，各抒己见。
党员邢威娜表示，坚决反对香港23条立法，其中对侵犯人权和自由这一条表达了自己的不满，她表示国家安全法会限制言论、出版、集会和示威的自由，以及其他基本人权。23条的成立会导致审查、逮捕和镇压政治异议。另外一名党员陈煦，也表达了自己的意见，他表明23条立法的成立扼杀了香港的开放性和国际形象，香港长期以来一直是一个开放自由的国际城市，吸引了大量的外国投资和人才。还有一位党员边晓夏也坚决反对香港23条的立法，表达了23条立法的成立影响了香港的法治和独立司法，国家安全法可能会对香港的法治和独立司法体系造成影响，使司法变得政治化，削弱法院对政府行为的监督作用。
最后拉斯维加斯党部的钟山先生代表内华达州党部和拉斯维加斯党部宣读了我们的共同联合声明。

Ladies and Gentlemen,
尊敬的各位女士、先生们，
Today, we stand united in our condemnation of the Beijing government's relentless assault on human rights and freedoms. The recent imposition of Hong Kong's new security law is a stark testament to this ongoing tragedy.
今天，我们团结一致，谴责北京政府对人权和自由不懈的攻击。香港新国安法的强加是这场持续悲剧的鲜明证明。
Western leaders, the United Nations, and numerous human rights organizations have voiced their criticism against Article 23 – a legal bludgeon that has been unanimously passed by Hong Kong’s pro-Beijing parliament. This legislation marks not just an erosion but an outright demolition of the freedoms that were promised to the people of Hong Kong.
西方领导人、联合国以及众多人权组织已经表达了他们对第23条——一个被香港亲北京议会一致通过的法律大棒——的批评。这项立法不仅标志着香港民众曾被承诺自由的侵蚀，更是彻头彻尾地拆除了那些自由。
The law criminalizes what they call 'treasonous' acts, yet it is nothing more than a tool for silencing dissent and crushing any form of opposition. Officials claim it is essential for stability; however, true stability cannot be built upon the suppression of fundamental human rights.
该法将所谓“叛国”行为定罪，但它只不过是用来压制异见和粉碎任何形式反对声音的工具。官员们声称这对稳定至关重要；然而，真正的稳定不能建立在压迫基本人权之上。
Let us be clear: this so-called security law is a "nail in the city's coffin," as opponents have rightly called it. It allows for closed-door trials, police powers to detain suspects without charge for up to 16 days, and imposes life sentences among other severe penalties.
让我们明确一点：所谓的国安法正如反对者正确指出那样，“钉在城市棺材里”的钉子。它允许闭门审判、警察有权无需起诉就能拘留嫌疑人长达16天，并且包括无期徒刑在内等其他严厉惩罚措施。
China may dismiss international concerns as "smears," but we will not be silenced. We must continue to speak out against these blatant violations with one voice until every individual in Hong Kong can live free from fear and oppression.
中国可能会把国际社会关注视为“污蔑”，但我们不会沉默。我们必须继续用一个声音公开发言，直到香港每个个体都能够摆脱恐惧和压迫地生活自由。
In solidarity with those who fight for freedom and democracy in Hong Kong – we denounce both the Beijing government and its puppet regime in Hong Kong! We demand justice! We demand liberty!
