2. *Host: Honors and mourns all victims of the Myanmar military junta supported by the CCP by offering flowers.
Introduces two young victims
• Mya Thwet Thwet Khine: The first casualty of the Myanmar military’s crackdown on February 9, 2021. She was shot and passed away after a 10-day struggle, spending her 20th birthday in a hospital.
• Ma Kyal Sin (Chinese name: Deng Jiaxi), of Yunnan descent, was fatally shot in the head on March 3, 2021, during a protest. Wearing a T-shirt with the message “Everything will be OK,” she had posted a will on Facebook, asking that her body be donated for societal benefit if she died. At just 18, her vibrant life was cut short on the streets of Mandalay by the military junta supported by the CCP.
• The next day after her burial, the military junta dug up her body, brutally removed the bullet from her head to destroy evidence, and desecrated her remains. This heinous act caused outrage and will lead to justice against the junta’s crimes.
Song Performance: Plays a revolutionary song by Myanmar’s Gen Z against the military junta, conveying the message:
“Our bodies and spirits must unite to defeat the brutal military dictatorship. We are ready to fight for justice. Our democracy is being violated by the military, and they disregard the people’s will. As a nation, we must remain vigilant and ensure the dictatorship ends in our generation.”
